The Portfolio… so far
This is two-fold. One, it serves as a reminder for me that I can never give up. What started out as one book, has turned to many. Can you say, proud?! I truly am. Because I was a girl with a dream. I was the reader who wanted to write, but didn’t think I could. As far as I knew, all authors were traditionally published through a Big 5, and that was the only way to be seen. How wrong I was. Several books later, and I have some of the most amazing readers, that love my work. The support has made me cry more than a few times. I’m emotional like that. They email, they inbox, they love all on me, and it’s humbling. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Though, there were a few times that I felt I wanted to. So, that’s why making this was needed. I needed to nudge myself and say, “Look what you’ve done so far. You still got work to do.”
The second part of that fold, is just that this was my first time producing such a project, and I wanted to see how good it’d come out. Whether I’d let it see the light of day or not. And it’s here, so I think I did kinda okay. It’s just good to know that I can do them myself and now I’m sure I’ll be obsessing!
In the meantime, enjoy and if there’s a book or six that you ain’t read yet… umm… let’s make that happen! Lol!
